I thought I'd try something different and entered into a Charm Swap. I belong to the group AllThingsTim and this swap looked interesting to me. I'm really getting into the Tim look! I've never made a charm in my life, but after a little research this is what I came up with. I bought blank dominoes at my LSS and drilled a hole in the top to and put a wire in to hang the charm. ( I added a little glossy accents to make sure it stayed.) I took Tim Holtz Alcohal Inks (caramel, latte and eggplant) and an applicator and dapped the tile. After it dried I stamped it with brown Staz-0n Ink and used the corner of Tim's optimist photograph stamp. I sprayed over the tile with a clear spray. I felt it needed something else so I added one of Tim's typecharms, I stamped the face image and cut it out with a 1/2" circle punch. I then added a few beads and a lobster claw. I made 21 of these for the swap and I hope they are all happy with them. I can't wait to see what I get back. The rules were you had to use one Tim Holtz item, not including the ink, it was a lot of fun. I'll post what I get in return in a couple of weeks. Have a great day and thanks again for following me.
