BEAUTY

I made my first layout from a sketch! Check out Liz's blog: www.lizqualman.blogspot.com (her sketches are awesome).
My friend and fellow blogger beatriz at: www.beatrizguzman58.blogspot.com inspired me to try following a sketch. Her work is fantastic!
The paper I used is graphic45 Le'Romantique Collection. I used prima flowers with old buttons for the centers. A strip of old lace and a butterfly from K & Company. I welded the word Beauty on my gypsy and cut the circles on my cricut. This picture is of my daughter 15 years ago, she was in a beuty pageant and won! Click on the picture to make it larger.
Let me know what you think, you know I love comments. Shari

  4. What a beautiful layout Shari!! Of course she won!!! Super sweet photo and I love the colors!!! XX

To answer your question about the thickness of my layouts and if I put them in books or not. The answer is yes. I usually buy the scrapboxes from Pioneer Photo Albums, which is just like a 3-ring notebook but instead it's a box.. I don't know if that makes any sence or not? I'm sure you can go to Pioneer Photo Albums website and see what I'm talking about. They're called Sewn Scrapbook Boxes.. And you can get them in a number of colors. I have Soft Pink, Baby Blue and Off White... I also get those Shadow Box Frames for layouts at Hobby Lobby, in their scrapbooking section, so I can display them for awhile at home and at work!!! Have a wonderful day and a better weekend!!!! I love your work!!!!! Your gourds are beautiful!!! XXXXX
