My third attempt!
This is my third attempt in my art journal, I'm not loving this one much. But, I guess I don't have to love them all. What do you think? (be nice!)

My second Art Journal attempt
I recently had a chance to play in my art journal. I've watched a lot of you tube videos and I have really been intrigued to try new and different techniques. I think my favorite so far is http://www.france-papillon.com/ she does a Journal on Monday series and I've learned so much from her. Check her out, she is very talented!
For these pages I found a napkin that I had saved of different pretty and bright flowers. I first used gesso on my pages and then started building layers of different inks. I have yet to buy the dillusions sprays so I've been using TH re-inkers and adding water to them to make sprays. I used a stencil that reminded me of honeycomb so I stamped the bees next to those areas. After a lot of layering I stamped different images faintly in the background. I then fussy cut the flowers out of the napkins and mod podged them on the pages. I cut out leaves and inked them up and added stems to my flowers. added a few dragon fly charms and decided it was finished. I'm quite pleased with it and think I'm hooked on art journaling. What do you think? Let me know if you like my finished project, I love your comments. Shari
